The Return of the Ancestors Gathering

When my friend Margreet told me about this special gathering that was to take place in Arizona, The Return of the Ancestors Gathering, I felt immediately that I had to be there. Sometimes you do not know why, but you feel that you have to and this was one of these times. We live in the Netherlands and we are involved in spiritual activities, thru which we develop ourselves and try to stay open and alert to sensing to what our souls are saying to us. This is of course nothing new, it is being done all over the world, but it can be a lonely road sometimes. The gathering was calling for souls to come together and share and maybe that is why we wanted to be there. We went with open hearts and the willingness to share our stories.
Maya prophecies
About 500 years ago The Mayas wrote down their prophecies on stones, which is now known as The Maya Calendar. One of these prophecies was:
At the time of the 13 Baktun and 13 Ahau is the time of the Return of our Ancestors and the Return of the Men of Wisdom”.
The fact that this gathering was inspired by the Maya prophecies and called for the presence of elders of several native American tribes, south American tribes and other indigenous tribes, made this gathering even more special. I felt that this gathering would energetically have a profound effect on the state of our earth and on getting to the turning point of 2012. Not only this gathering would be needed to get there, but many more after this one. The gathering of souls on a hearts level is like drops of water coming together to create a beautiful waterfall. The beauty of this waterfall will attract more souls to join and create waves of love that will spread over the world.
